Epsom salt: I like Dr. Teals Epsom Salt because the granules are small, so it dissolves quickly | Baking soda: Arm & Hammer | Lavender: Young Living
Lately, I have been really into taking baths! It’s such a quick and easy way to add some relaxation into my life …and with 3 kids under 5, I need it! 🙂 I love finding different recipes that will give me an extra boost in whatever area I am struggling with (dry skin, sore muscles, stress, etc.) I probably use this de-stressing recipe by Dr. Hyman the most!
2 cups Epsom salts
1 cup baking soda
10 drops of lavender essential oil
Fill your bathtub with water as hot as you can stand it. Add the Epsom salt, baking soda and lavender. Soak in the tub for 20 minutes.
This recipe has so many benefits that go beyond relaxing! The lavender works to relax your nervous system, while the magnesium in the Epsom salt will soothe your sore muscles, and the baking soda will raise the pH of the water to aid in detoxification.
Tell me if you have any awesome bath recipes in the comment section! I love trying new things!!
Until next time,
